MongoDB today announced the appointment of Dell veteran Steve Su as area vice president of the Greater China region.
Steve Su was the country manager of Dell in Greater China.
At MongoDB, Su’s responsibilities will include building a high performance sales team and a network of channel partners across the region.
Su has more than 22 years of experience across several markets in the APAC region, including China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The adoption of Big Data and analytics in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) is expected to reach $3.5 billion in 2018, according to IDC.
Prior to his role at Dell, Su was with BMC Software, HP / Opsware and Parametric Technology Corporation.
