Mitel expands leadership team in Asia

Mitel has appointed Henry Lu, vice president, Sales and Operations, mainland China, and Sean Foo, vice president, Sales and Operations, ASEAN and North Asia.

The strategy of Mitel is to expand its revenue from cloud and mobile communications from enterprises in the Asia Pacific region.
Henry Lun of Mitel
Henry Lu will spearhead initiatives from Mitel’s office in Beijing. Lu recently served as general manager of sales for JDS China. Prior to that, he held business development positions at Agilent and Tektronix.
Sean Foo of Mitel
Sean Foo led sales and business development efforts at Avaya and ShoreTel. Foo will drive Mitel’s growth in Southeast Asia from the company’s Singapore location.

In addition to the presence in Beijing, Singapore and other key cities in the Asia Pacific region, the company operates mobile technology Centers of Excellence in Shanghai and Bengaluru to support the development of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) technologies.

Mitel recently expanded the Bengaluru facility to include enterprise technologies.
