Microsoft veteran Hrishi Parthasarathy joins Avaya as director

Parthasarathy’s expertise in running large-scale channel-driven businesses will assist Avaya, a provider of business communications and collaboration systems and services, to move to the next level.

At Microsoft, Parthasarathy’s focus was on designing go-to-market models for emerging markets, incubating new solution areas and practices, and driving geographical expansion strategies.

“Hrishi’s experience in managing top SI alliances, driving enterprise solutions and services will help us strengthen our channel base and help us deliver The Power of We to an even broader base of customers across the region,” said Rajeev Mittal, managing director, India and SAARC, Avaya.

Prior to his stint at Microsoft, Parthasarathy worked with Sutherland Global Services in international sales and marketing, and began his career with Redington India.

“Avaya’s business in India is evolving rapidly, and the company is known for its strong network of channel partners. I am really excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, and to driving continued success for our Avaya Connect channel partners across India,” said Parthasarathy.

Avaya has strong channel partner base across India, while it also focuses on strong distribution networks in India through its distributors Redington and Beetel.
