Meru Networks offers 50% discount to Aruba and HP customers

Meru Networks today announced 50 percent discount to customers of Aruba and HP for upgrading their wireless networks to Meru.

SDN-based 802.11ac solutions will be the focus area of Meru Networks. Independent laboratory The Tolly Group demonstrates that overall performance of the 802.11ac Meru AP832 Wi-Fi access point is far superior to the directly comparable Aruba AP225.

“Customers are evaluating the impact of the Aruba-HP acquisition and what this future combination holds,” said Dennis Huang, director of product marketing at Meru.

As per the Adios Aruba promotion, which begins today and ends on September 21, 2015, Meru is offering promotional bundle that includes five access points, a controller, software licensing, support and a free 100-user Meru Connect on-boarding solution.

This apart, Meru is offering Aruba resellers concerned about losing their program status, in addition to being subjected to price pressure from thousands of HP resellers, special incentives for moving to Meru.

Meru Networks said Aruba partners that apply and are accepted into Meru’s Partner Program will receive discount levels and cash incentives, free demo equipment, free sales and technical training and participation in Meru’s marketing programs.
