McAfee has appointed John Giamatteo as senior vice president and general manager of the consumer business.
Giamatteo will play a key role in bringing new products to market.
He joins McAfee from AVG where he served as chief operating officer.
Giamatteo will work as part of the global executive team to drive the company’s consumer growth strategy and lead the joint commitment with Intel to enable a safe digital experience for every person around the globe.
Prior to joining McAfee and AVG, Giamatteo worked with companies including Solera, RealNetworks, and Nortel.
