North Carolina-based Liberty Healthcare Management migrated its Infor Lawson applications to the cloud via the Infor UpgradeX program.
Infor UpgradeX is an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud based modernization path that helps organizations better manage cost and enable better collaboration across the extended enterprise.
“Liberty chose Infor’s UpgradeX program because it offers cost savings while freeing up local resources,” said Richard Gallo, vice president, Information Systems, Liberty Healthcare Management.
Liberty has been an Infor customer since 2009. Infor said Liberty will get a completely new version of their current Infor solutions deployed in the cloud, including Infor Lawson Supply Chain Management, Infor Lawson Human Resource Management, and Infor Lawson Enterprise Financial Management.
Infor also noted that this upgrade will help Liberty to reduce customizations, eliminate the need to hire additional in-house staff for system administration and maintenance and improve the system’s hardware performance.
Moreover, these upgrades applications will also help cut down on administrative work, leaving staff to focus on more critical tasks and ultimately enhance the quality of patient care.
