Juniper Networks financial performance in Q3 2017

Juniper Networks Q3 2017Juniper Networks has posted revenue of $1,257.8 million (–2 percent) and net income of $174.4 million, (+1 percent) with operating margin of 19.4 percent (19.5 percent) for the three months ended September 30, 2017.

Juniper Networks said its third quarter revenue was impacted by timing of switching deployments.

Juniper Networks CEO Rami Rahim said: “Our intentional strategy of focusing on cloud-oriented architectures and solutions has resulted in a strong footprint and a compelling product pipeline.”

Juniper Networks initiated a realignment of its workforce in Q4, as it prioritizes its investments in the most critical areas of its business.

Juniper’s revenues will be approximately $1,230 million, plus or minus $30 million with gross margin of approximately 62 percent, plus or minus 0.5 percent and operating expenses of approximately $485 million, plus or minus $5 million in the December quarter.
