Juniper Networks has reached an agreement with Aruba networks to deliver converged wired and wireless network solution.

The agreement envisages joint development efforts and customer reach programs to achieve competitive results.

In a statement Juniper Networks said that the company is enabling tech partners to take advantage of its programmable silicon by making available key software elements and new programmable application programming interfaces, which envisages High IQ enterprise.

“High-IQ enterprise is an open and smart approach to enterprise networking that help customers to fundamentally transform the user and operator experience,” company officials said.

“There’s an urgent need for IT departments to efficiently handle GenMobile’s all-wireless requirements and the resulting influx of mobile device traffic. Aruba’s joint development agreement with Juniper Networks brings together the best in mobility technology with a leader in wired switching and routing,” said Dominic Orr, CEO, Aruba Networks.

Juniper said the collaboration will streamline recurring network operations and help the IT professionals to enhance their productivity by simplified management, visibility and policy across company product lines.

Besides, this will help customers to create a future-ready mobility infrastructure with a broad set of enterprise-grade indoor and outdoor wireless access product.
