Juniper Networks appoints Cisco veteran Pierre-Paul Allard as CSO

Juniper Networks announced the appointment of Pierre-Paul Allard as chief customer officer as part of the company strategy to improve sales.
Juniper Networks for enterprise technologyPierre-Paul Allard, based out of the Juniper Networks’ corporate headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, will be reporting to CEO Rami Rahim.

Juniper Networks last week said its revenues fell 8 percent to $1,204 million with operating margin of 13.3 percent in the second quarter of 2018.

Pierre-Paul Allard will be responsible for charting Juniper’s sales growth strategy and driving the strategic and operational elements of the Sales, Partners, Services and Support functions for the company.

Prior to joining Juniper, Pierre-Paul Allard held leadership positions at technology companies, including CheckPoint, Avaya, IBM and Cisco.

Prior to joining Avaya, Allard spent 19 years at Cisco, joining the company in 1993 to lead Cisco Canada which he grew to $1 billion in revenue.

He then moved into senior global leadership roles, first running enterprise marketing and then sales for the Industries segment, a $2.5 billion division. Prior to joining Cisco, Pierre-Paul Allard spent 12 years in various management roles at IBM.
