Software engineers are in demand globally. But Indian software companies are not the best pay masters according to Glassdoor’s latest report on the 25 highest paying companies for software engineers.

Glassdoor’s latest report on the 25 highest paying companies for software engineers does not feature any single software company from India. Companies such as Wipro, TCS, HCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. are not part of this list.

Juniper Networks tops the list with annual base salary of $159,990. LinkedIn (base salary of $136,427), Yahoo (130,312), Google (127,143), Twitter (124,863), Apple (124,630), Oracle (122,905), Walmart (122,110), Facebook (121,507) and Integral (117,927) are the other top companies that offer best salary package to software engineers, said Glassdoor’s latest report.

All top 25 companies pay above the national annual average software engineer base salary of $92,790, based on more than 33,000 salary reports over the past year.
