Impetus Technologies, a big data vendor, plans to hire 150 big data architects, senior developers and data scientists.
The expansion of its team reflects on the business growth in big data. The US technology company grew its big data business by 125 percent in 2015. It expects to more than double the big data business in 2016.
This is based on the growing demand for its big data services, StreamAnalytix software product, Data Warehouse Workload Migration solutions, and other products and services slated to be announced throughout the year.
Impetus CEO Praveen Kankariya said: “We help our clients reduce their infrastructure cost and then use the savings to fund the implementation of high-return advanced analytical applications. Our hiring will allow us to continue delivering this level of phenomenal value for our large enterprise clients.”
In addition to hiring big data technology professionals, Impetus Technologies plans to expand its U.S. sales, marketing and account management teams.
