Port shipments for 100Gb switches rose 85.3 percent to 3.6 million. 100Gb revenues grew 59 percent to $1.2 billion, making up 17.3 percent of the market’s revenue.
25Gb ports shipments grew 104.8 percent. 25Gb ports revenue increased 133.3 percent to $304 million.
Cisco achieved 8.3 percent increase in Ethernet switch revenues with market share of 53.7 percent.
Huawei’s Ethernet switch revenue rose 18.9 percent. Huawei has market share of 8.9 percent in Ethernet switch market against 8.1 percent a year earlier.
Arista Networks’s Ethernet switch revenues rose 24 percent. Arista Networks has 7.5 percent share in Ethernet switch revenue market against 6.5 percent a year earlier.
HPE’s Ethernet switch revenue declined 5.6 percent. HPE has share of 5.3 percent in the global Ethernet switch market.
Juniper’s Ethernet switch revenue declined 23.4 percent. Juniper has a market share of 2.6 percent in Ethernet switch market.
Router market
The enterprise and service provider router market grew 8.2 percent. Service provider segment accounts for 75.3 percent of router market revenues. Service provider router market rose 7.1 percent. Enterprise router market grew 11.9 percent.

Cisco’s service provider and enterprise router revenue rose 15.3 percent. Cisco’s enterprise router revenue rose 16.1 percent and service provider revenues grew 14.8 percent. Cisco’s SP and enterprise router market share increased to 42.4 percent from 37.4 percent.
Huawei’s service provider and enterprise router revenue rose 5.7 percent with a market share of 24.5 percent.
Juniper Technologies revenue dipped 8.2 percent in enterprise and service provider router sales. Juniper Technologies has a market share of 10.4 percent in the global router market during the first quarter of 2019.
