Huawei in pact with SAP to set up competency center

Infotech Lead India: Huawei has signed an agreement establishing SAP, a supplier of enterprise application software and solutions, as its first Chinese global technology partner.

SAP and Huawei will strengthen their technical integration and support, build an interoperability competency center and carry out joint sales and marketing activities worldwide.

SAP and Huawei will help customers accelerate application development, reduce the overall cost of ownership, and improve flexibility and operating efficiency with an end-to-end integrated system. It will help customers enhance businesses’ competitive strength and performance.

The companies will together provide integrated products with enhanced availability and scalability, enhancing customers’ insights from enterprise information. Their joint offerings will help customers reduce implementation and operation costs based on the optimization of infrastructures and software solutions. In the future, Huawei and SAP will make their solutions available to global customers across a variety of industries, including government, utility, telecom, finance, transportation, energy, commercial and digital.
