Huawei expands ICT products in Japan

Huawei has expanded its ICT solutions in Japan.

Showcasing latest enterprise products at Interop Tokyo 2013, Huawei also announced its partnership with Nissho Electronics, Japanese system integrators, to jointly promote Huawei’s enterprise ICT products and solutions in the Japanese market.

During the event, Huawei showcases four major categories of advanced and innovative enterprise ICT solutions, including enterprise networking, cloud computing and data center, Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) and Green Power.

“Committed to better serve enterprise customers in Japan and around the globe, Huawei, alongside its partners, leverages on its strong R&D capabilities and deep understanding of the industry to provide innovative products and solutions that cater to the Japanese market as well as markets across the world,” said William Xu, CEO of Huawei Enterprise Business Group.

Huawei on Thursday said that CloudEngine series switches are cloud switches designed for next-generation data centers and high-end campus networks.

It supports 64 Tbit/s switching capacity and provides terabit high-density line cards, super-large buffer on 100G/40G/10G  ports and network platform with stability for five to eight years, offering advanced architecture that ensures uninterrupted service transmission.

Since its launch in May 2012, the CE12800 has been serving more than 60 customers and made more than 300 shipments, with over a third of the shipments going outside of the Chinese market.
