Huawei Enterprise to unveil channel strategy for India on Thursday

Enterprise networking vendor Huawei Enterprise will unveil its channel strategy for India on Thursday.

The focus of Huawei will be on Connect, Engage & Build.

The Chinese IT company’s press meet in Delhi on April 3 will be attended by Daniel Jiangqingsong, president, Huawei Enterprise, India and Suresh Reddy, vice president, Huawei Enterprise.

On 31 March, Huawei said its enterprise revenue increased 32.4 percent to $2.45 billion (CNY15.2 billion). Huawei carrier network business sales rose 4 percent to $26.81 billion (CNY166.5 billion), while Huawei consumer businesses grew 17.8 percent to $9.18 billion (CNY57.0 billion).

Huawei competes with Cisco, HP, Juniper Networks, etc. in the enterprise IT space.

Meanwhile, at the Interop 2014, Huawei has launched Enterprise Services and Support, including call center services, equipment delivery and technician support across the U.S. market.

Huawei Enterprise channel strategy in India

Huawei also announced at Interop Las Vegas the availability of the Huawei Certified Service Partner Program to assist enterprises and partners in the deployment and maintenance of Huawei ICT solutions and equipment.

“Huawei’s Enterprise Services and Support leverages our industry partners and the extensive resources and knowledge of Huawei’s global engineering and 70,000-person R&D operations to meet the needs of our enterprise customers and channel partners,” said Jane Li, COO for Huawei Enterprise USA.

Huawei Enterprise Services and Support includes 24/7 call center services delivered by the Huawei Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in Mechanicsburg, Pa., with authorized service partner Essintial Enterprise Solutions. Using a follow-the-sun approach, frontline and backline support will be augmented by TAC operations in Plano, Texas; Romania; and China. Also, four-hour onsite parts and technician support is available to over 40,000 U.S. locations, along with next-business-day parts delivery.

Meanwhile, Huawei said that its Agile S12700 Switch, which can play a significant role in campus networks, has received Miercom’s Performance Verified Certification for its overall performance and resiliency.  Huawei Agile S12700 switch was evaluated by Miercom for Software-Defined Networking (SDN) programmable capability, performance, features and energy efficiency.
