HPE veteran Sunil Kumar Thakur joins BMC Software as country manager

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) veteran Sunil Kumar Thakur has joined BMC Software, a IT solutions provider, as country manager for its India operations.

Sunil Kumar Thakur will lead the team that will help realize BMC’s Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) strategy in India.

Prior to joining BMC Software, Sunil worked with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Software, Tata Indicom and Sify Technologies. In his last assignment with HPE, Sunil lead the Government and Defense Business for the enterprise networking company.

“Enterprises in India are adopting and taking advantage of digital transformation wave. BMC is a leader in innovative software solutions that help businesses transform into digital enterprises,” said Sunil Kumar Thakur, country manager – India, BMC Software.

Sunil will be responsible for implementing the company’s new Living IT strategy, placing people at the heart of IT. The company believes that Sunil’s experience in the industry will help BMC Software build on their commitment to the Indian market.
