Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced new infrastructure offering to enable India SMBs to increase performance and reduce security risk without spending more.
IT industry research firm IDC says roughly one-third of SMBs with 50 or more employees cite server upgrades and network infrastructure as a top IT spending priority in the next 12 months.
“For many, the expanding use of cloud and hosted resources will depend on updating their on-premise capabilities, with flash storage and hyperconverged servers of increasing interest,” said Ray Boggs, VP SMB research, IDC.
HPE is introducing the right mix of systems, networking solutions, storage and financing programs for SMBs with 1 – 1,000 employees.

HPE announced a flash portfolio update including a powerful HPE MSA storage array; HPE Nimble Storage flash arrays; and affordable all-flash HPE SimpliVity 380 Gen 10 hyperconverged system for midsize customers looking to provide predictable acceleration of business applications.
HPE has also optimized the HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen10, ProLiant ML350 Gen10 and ProLiant DL580 Gen10 Servers for growing business needs.
HPE has also introduced a new WiFi solution specifically designed for businesses with fewer than 100 employees. The HPE OfficeConnect OC20 provides secure, reliable and cost-effective business-grade Wi-Fi for businesses without dedicated IT resources.
Indian SMBs will have access to all-flash storage with the new HPE SimpliVity 380 hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
HPE is bringing entry-level SimpliVity 380 solutions that provide a 20 percent lower cost than leading competitors. These solutions will offer the benefits of all-flash storage—twice the performance of hybrid solutions with half the latency.
HPE Nimble Storage Predictive Flash platform includes advanced predictive analytics engine in the for its enterprise customers in India.
HPE said the new MSA1050 hybrid storage array starts under $5.5K, representing the lowest entry price point in the HPE shared storage portfolio. The MSA 2050/2052 models deliver two times more performance than its previous generation for the same price.
The HPE StoreFabric M-series switches enable SMBs to achieve an affordable, high-performance network infrastructure built for flash. The new HPE StoreFabric M-Series Ethernet switches provide flash-optimized networking over standard iSCSI connections.
The company said ML110 Gen10 Server is the best performing single processor tower for SMBs and ROBOs, delivering a 21 percent performance boost over the previous generation. HPE ML350 Gen10 Server delivers 71 percent performance boost and 27 percent increase in cores over the previous generation.
