India networking market — Ethernet Switch, Routers and WLAN segments – rose 14.8 percent in Q1 2019.
The Indian WLAN market rose 5.6 percent to $53.37 million. The consumer and enterprise WLAN segments witnessed growth. Service provider WLAN deployments declined. Professional services vendors drove the growth in the enterprise segment.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) became the market leader in WLAN market during Q1 2019 with 20.8 percent market share, followed by Cisco and TP-Link.
HPE has 20.8 percent share in the Indian WLAN market. Cisco has 18.2 percent share of the WLAN market in India. TP-Link has 15.9 percent share. Netgear has 10.8 percent in the Indian WLAN market. D-Link has 10.3 percent share in the WLAN market in India.
Ethernet Switch market in India rose 4.5 percent to $146 million. Top spending for switching segment came from services, telecom and financial organizations.
Cisco dominated the Ethernet Switch market with 53.4 percent share, followed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) with 12.2 percent, Huawei with 3.2 percent and Nokia with 3.2 percent share.
India Router market increased 34.1 percent to $133.9 million. The growth was driven by enterprises and telecom service providers. Growth of SD-WAN in India is expected to be driven by banking, government and healthcare.
Cisco leads the router market with 59.5 percent market share followed by Nokia with 19.5 percent, Huawei with 12.8 percent and Juniper with 5.9 percent share.
