HPE announced the appointment of Archana “Archie” Deskus as global chief information officer (CIO) – responsible for driving HPE’s IT strategy.
The appointment is in lined with the HPE strategy — HPE Next — to compete and win in the markets where it participates. HPE is making investments towards driving innovation, enhancing its go-to-market, and improving business processes.
Before joining HPE, Archie was CIO at Baker Hughes where she transformed their IT organization into a strategic business partner, while delivering operational performance and business value. Prior to Baker Hughes, she held CIO roles at Ingersoll-Rand, Timex Corporation, and United Technologies Corporation.
Earlier, Ana Pinczuk has joined HPE to lead the Technology Services business for the Support and Consulting organizations.
Ana has joined HPE from Veritas, where she most recently held the role of chief product officer — responsible for engineering, product planning, portfolio management, manufacturing, supply chain management, vendor management, and strategies for the backup and recovery, business continuity, storage management and information governance portfolio.
Prior to Veritas, Ana spent 15 years at Cisco, where she held a number of senior roles including SVP of Sales, Services COO and Transformation leader, where she led the transformation of Cisco’s Global Technical Center.
HPE earlier announced the appointment of Denzil Samuels to lead the Worldwide Indirect Sales organization for Enterprise Group.
Denzil joined HPE from General Electric (GE), where he served as the global head of channels, alliances, business development and ventures for GE Digital.
In addition to managing all channel resellers globally, he focused on using machine data to provide industrial companies with analytics and insights. Prior to GE, Denzil was senior vice president for worldwide partners and solutions at Salesforce.com.
