HP appoints Rajat Mehta as National Technology Officer – HP Printers and Personal Systems

 

Infotech Lead India: HP has appointed Rajat Mehta as the National Technology Officer – HP Printers and Personal Systems (PPS) division at Hewlett Packard India Sales.

The appointment is effective from November 2012.

HP has appointed Rajat Mehta as the National Technology Officer

Earlier, Rajat was the country head – Consumer Exchange – HP Printers and Personal Systems (PPS) division at HP.

Rajat has been working with HP since 1998 and held several key positions.

During June 2012 – November 2012, Rajat strategized e commerce practice to design and launch online store; looked after integration strategy for social network, web analytics and SEO implementation to drive traffic.

During 2010-12, Rajat was instrumental in driving desktop virtualization, education solutions, retail and digital signage businesses at HP.

According to Rajat’s LinkedIn profile, he has established Emerging Business Unit for HP PSG India; managed end-to-end solutions for Desktop Virtualization, Retail Solutions & Education Solutions with P&L responsibility and significant margin contribution.

Rajat joined HP in January 1998 as regional head – ASEAN Operation. Rajat’s responsibility included Marketing, Sales and overall operation management of the company for the South, South East Asian Operation.

During 1998-2000, Rajat has set up complete India operation and making it profitable in less than 6 month of operation. He was instrumental in making the South Asian support team a global resource for the company.
