Hitachi Data Systems announced version 2.1 of Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) Anywhere.
The company said the latest version allows service providers and IT organizations to easily deliver the most secure content mobility solution offered by HDS to their users under their own brand.
Hitachi said these new capabilities for file sync, folder sharing and end-user data protection will be on display next week at Mobile World Congress in its booth in Hall 6, Stand 6G21.
HCP Anywhere v.2.1 brings new features that allow external parties to upload data to shared HCP Anywhere folders.
This new release also includes enhancements that further improve the security, ease of use, and intelligence of underlying storage and network resources.
“Through a combination of Hitachi Content Platform as the core cloud storage repository, Hitachi Data Ingestor as the cloud gateway and Hitachi Content Platform Anywhere for file synchronization and sharing and remote management, we were able to quickly and easily bring to market new value added services for our customers,” said Sergio Grassi, Sales Director, Infracom Italia SpA.
HCP Anywhere was selected as a TechTarget 2015 Product of the Year finalist in the enterprise storage system software category.
It also received the TMC 2015 Cloud Computing Excellence Award and the 2014-2015 Cloud Award for Best in Mobile Solutions category.
