This transition, effective January 15, 2024, marks a notable addition to HPE’s leadership team. Myers, previously the CFO of HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ) since 2021, brings over two decades of experience in various financial leadership roles within the company.

Reporting directly to Antonio Neri, the president and chief executive officer of HPE, Myers is set to spearhead the financial strategy of the organization. Her extensive background, particularly in driving financial and operational excellence, positions her as a valuable asset for the company’s future endeavors.

Antonio Neri expressed his confidence in Myers, stating, “Marie is a strategic and visionary CFO known for making financial decisions that fuel innovation and performance.”

“Her proven track record in delivering both operational and financial results speaks volumes, and I am eager to collaborate with her in our mission to offer pioneering experiences to our clientele.”

Jeremy Cox, who assumed the role of interim chief financial officer since August, will resume his previous responsibilities as senior vice president, corporate controller, and chief tax officer, now reporting to Myers.

Prior to her tenure as CFO at HP, Myers held various key positions within the company, contributing to HP’s financial strategies during the separation from Hewlett-Packard Company in 2015, which led to the inception of HPE. Her background also includes serving as CFO at UiPath, a leading robotic process automation company.

A native of Australia, Myers holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She furthered her education by earning a master’s in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Myers currently serves on the board of directors for both F5 Networks and KLA Corporation, showcasing her extensive involvement in the corporate realm beyond her executive roles.
