Greenpanel, India’s largest manufacturer of wood panels, has selected Dell EMC VxRail hyperconverged infrastructure to modernize its data center and optimize manufacturing and business operations.
Greenpanel has selected Dell EMC VxRail HCI over a public cloud solution to enable its mission-critical applications. It offers greater flexibility and agility, and eliminates complexities in managing aging infrastructure, and resolving storage size and scalability limitations.
VxRail also supports across its SAP and non-SAP applications to eliminate silos created in storage layers and simplify operations by enabling a unified view and management of all infrastructure resources. An automated and modernized data center allowed Greenpanel’s IT team to free up time to focus on business and IT innovations.
Greenpanel also implemented Dell ProSupportPlus (PSP), which comes bundled with the SupportAssist Enterprise functionality. Dell PSP’s AI capabilities enable automation and eliminate time consuming manual processes, by proactively detecting and reporting hardware failures to Dell’s ProSupport Plus engineers, who are available 24×7 for customer support.
“Businesses are relying heavily on new technologies to innovate and succeed in a competitive landscape. Dell EMC VxRail helped Greenpanel address challenges in managing their mission-critical applications and complex hardware without the need for specialist resources,” said Manish Gupta, Senior Director & General Manager, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Dell Technologies India.
Vineet Bansal, CIO of Greenpanel, said: “We wanted a solutions provider that understood our core fundamentals, and Dell Technologies did just that. With the deployment of HCI, we are now able to focus on driving innovation and enabling future IT initiatives for our business.”
