Google to start road show in India

Search engine major Google will share its knowledge about online opportunities by introducing g|day events in India.

Google is conducting the global initiative for the first time in India.

The road show will be starting on 19th July 2012 in Chennai, following across 4 major cities Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai.

“g|day events are a great opportunity for business leaders, developers, IT professionals and entrepreneurs to learn about Google technologies that can help them to harness the power of the Internet,” said Sunil Rao, country head – Outreach Programs India, Google.

Each g|day will be scheduled for 2 days catering to different audiences. Day 1 will focus on businesses, marketers, publishers and content owners who want to learn more about Google products such as AdWords, AdSense, YouTube, Google+, and Google Apps to help them to improve and take advantage of their online presence.

Day 2 will be carried to webmasters and app developers, who want to learn more about most popular developer products and tools – Android, Chrome, App Engine, Maps, Webmaster Tools. These sessions would be hosted by Google Engineers with the help of code labs, web and mobile technologies.

g|mumbai – 11 / 12 September
