Glowpoint, a provider of Cloud managed video services, has entered into a partnership with StarLeaf, a manufacturer of interoperable video and voice solutions, to deliver turn-key cloud video services for desktops and rooms for $99 per month.
“With StarLeaf, we are delivering high-quality telepresence that is easy to buy, deploy and use. When customers receive their StarLeaf system with Glowpoint’s cloud subscription they will be live within 5 minutes,” said Stephen Vobbe, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing for Glowpoint.
Under the partnership, both companies will be making ‘high quality/low cost’ telepresence easily accessible and fully supported anywhere in the world.
The association will combine StarLeaf’s portfolio of easy to deploy endpoints with Glowpoint’s unrivaled reliability. StarLeaf’s purpose built video infrastructure will be integrated into Glowpoint’s OpenVideo cloud architecture.

Our relationship with Glowpoint tears down the barriers to make video collaboration accessible for all and will go a long way towards making video deployment more pervasive,” said Mark Loney, StarLeaf CEO.
The partnership will enable customers to purchase the StarLeaf desktop and room systems through Glowpoint bundled with the cloud service, with the option of an All-Inclusive Service Price (AISP) that includes the cost of the system as part of a monthly payment.
The new services will provide joint customers with complete access to the OpenVideo community for secure, seamless B2B calling anytime.
Glowpoint signs Columbus Business to offer Cloud based video services in Latin America
