Gigamon with its Unified Visibility Fabric has launched a new high density edge node, the GigaVUE-TA40 for visibility into 40Gb networks.
The company has also launched a suite of new GigaVUE-OS capabilities to enhance the breadth of the Unified Visibility Fabric.
The traffic aggregation node, GigaVUE-TA40 is ideal for large-scale enterprise edge deployments or high-volume data centers migrating to 40Gb.
The new node sports 32 x 40Gb ports in a 1 RU form factor and allows for the connection of multiple SPAN/TAP traffic feeds into 40Gb uplinks that feed the core of the Visibility Fabric.
Cisco customers who are migrating to 40Gb networks or deploying Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and need pervasive visibility into advanced architectures can use the new solution.
The new GigaVUE-TA40 inherits all built-in Fabric Services, such as patented Flow Mapping and can be clustered with core nodes to gain access to rich traffic intelligence.
Company said Gigamon has enhanced its Adaptive Packet Filtering (APF) GigaSMART application to ensure data privacy.
Mobile providers can gain per-subscriber visibility using whitelists with the unique mechanism introduced by Gigacom.
GigaVUE-OS will be available on select third party white box hardware from Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT).
The GigaVUE-TA40 and the new enhancements to the GigaVUE-OS software are available from authorized Gigamon channel partners and starts at $29,995.
The existing customers with a valid support and maintenance contract need not pay anything for software updates to GigaVUE-OS and new GigaSMART application enhancements, said Gigamon.
Last month, Gigamon and Argyle Data joined hands to deliver fraud detection and revenue protection for communications service providers (CSPs).
In January, Gigamon launched its Partner Program, a worldwide channel program that rewards and enables value added reseller (VAR) partners.
