Genpact said on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement to acquire Endeavour Software Technologies Private Limited, a mobile digital solutions provider.
Genpact has not disclosed the terms and conditions. Endeavour Software Technologies have operations in Austin, Texas and Bangalore, India.
The company said acquisition is subject to satisfaction of certain customary conditions, including Indian regulatory approval, and is expected in the fourth quarter of 2015.
The acquisition of Endeavour will add to Genpact’s Digital capabilities in mobile consulting, architecture and design, implementation, and testing.
Through its Lean Digital approach, Genpact will extend digital technologies through the middle and back office to deliver measurable business impact such as revenue growth, cost efficiency, and business agility.
This acquisition is one more important step in Genpacts’s ongoing strategy to strengthen Lean Digital portfolio said Sanjay Srivastava, senior vice president and chief digital officer, Genpact.
Genpact’s digital business that supports its Lean Digital strategy encompasses two key areas. The first, Systems of Engagement™ solutions and the second is digital integration services.
In August, Genpact said its revenue rose 9 percent to $609.5 million, while income from operations grew 22 percent to $89.4 million in the second quarter of 2015. Revenue of Genpact from global clients rose 12 percent to $495 million, representing 81 percent of total revenues. Q2 revenue from GE fell 4 percent to $114.5 million, representing 19 percent of total revenues.
