The Department of the Air Force Security Support Services contract is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery-indefinite quantity contract that was initially granted in February 2021. It encompasses a five-year base period with an additional five-year option. Despite facing multiple protests from a competitor, the Air Force officially notified GDIT in August 2023 that all protests had been successfully resolved.

GDIT is slated to commence contract operations on November 15, delivering a wide array of comprehensive security services. This includes critical domains such as information, personnel, and communications security, alongside vital counterintelligence analysis and cybersecurity assessments.

Brian Sheridan, GDIT’s senior vice president for the defense division, emphasized the paramount importance of safeguarding operational and technological advantages from potential adversaries, citing the criticality of national security.
