GENBAND appoints Patrick Joggerstas as CMO

GENBAND has appointed BroadSoft executive Patrick Joggerstas as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

He will be responsible for the company’s marketing, training and go-to-market initiatives.

Joggerst most recently served as vice president of Global Sales for BroadSoft, a provider of software and services that enable service providers to offer Unified Communications over their Internet Protocol (IP)-based networks.

Prior to BroadSoft, Joggerst was executive vice president and general manager for the Carrier Services and Solutions business unit at Aricent Group, said GENBAND in a statement.

Earlier executive leadership positions include senior vice president of Worldwide Sales at NextPoint Networks (formerly NexTone), executive vice president of Global Sales and Marketing at Telcordia Technologies, president of PrimeCo PCS, president of Carrier Service at Global Crossing and several executive positions at AT&T.
