Fortinet hires four sales VPs to boost security biz

Cyber security solutions vendor Fortinet has appointed four sales vice presidents — Araldo Menegon, Ryan Witt, Chad Whalen and Jim Jasinsk – to strengthen business.

Before joining as global managing director, Financial Services at Fortinet, Araldo Menegon was global managing director for Juniper Networks, where he built and led the company’s financial services practice. He also worked with IBM, Nortel, Sycamore Networks and Cisco.

Prior to joining as vice president of Cloud Services at Fortinet, Chad Whalen was chief customer officer for Jasper Technologies where he established a new go-to-market strategy that leveraged a push-pull direct/indirect model to accelerate customer adoption.

Before Fortinet, Ryan Witt, who is joining as vice president and managing director, Healthcare Industry Practice, founded and led Juniper Network’s Healthcare Industry Practice and was the chair of Juniper’s Healthcare Advisory Board. He also worked with Hitachi Data Systems, BridgeHead Software and ClearDATA.

The early career of Jim Jasinski, vice president, Federal Business Development, Supply Chain, Fortinet, included several years as an attorney in New York State, Special Agent for the FBI. After FBI retirement in 2000, Jaskinski worked with DynCorp, Cogent Systems, and Digital Signal.
