Extreme Networks has appointed Nelson Soon as channels sales director for Asia Pacific and Japan.
Based in Singapore, Nelson will work with Extreme Networks’ senior management to prioritize markets, resources, and secure new partners.
He will be responsible for designing business models that aim to optimize the company’s existing channels base.
Prior to Extreme Networks, Nelson was working with Ixia as the head of Sales for ANZ, Asean and Taiwan for five years, managing regional sales, channels strategy, and business development. He also served Agilent Technologies for seven years as the Channels Partner Manager.
