EMC said its second quarter revenue rose 2 percent to $6 billion.

Consolidated revenues of EMC are expected to be $25.2 billion for 2015.
EMC Information Infrastructure revenue rose 1 percent. Information Storage revenue in the second quarter grew 1 percent.
Emerging Storage revenue increased 49 percent, led by XtremIO, Isilon and Software-Defined Storage. Within Emerging Storage, XtremIO revenue growth exceeded 300 percent. Within the Converged Infrastructure business, Vblock and Vblock-related revenue rose more than 30 percent.
Pivotal revenue rose 18 percent.
VMware revenue grew 4 percent.
