Edimax Technology, a provider of networking solutions, has launched EdimaxCAP300 for Rs 17,500 for SMBs in India.
EdimaxCAP300 features IEEE802.11n wireless speeds up to 300Mbps. Edimax India and its regional distributors are selling CAP300 2 x 2 N Ceiling-Mount PoE Access Point that is available with 1 year warranty.

The size of the WLAN enterprise market grew 9.4 percent in Q2 2016. The enterprise WLAN market achieved 14.6 percent growth in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan), said IDC.

Edimax Technology said CAP 300, which supports 11n high-density for up to 50 users, is ideal for multi-tenant unit buildings such as hotels, resorts, hospitals, campuses.
EdimaxCAP300 comes with UL94-5VB flame-retardant plastic housing, supporting up to 16 SSIDs for multiple departments, user groups, customers or guests. It provides 1.5x greater coverage than typical APs for blanket coverage to ensure seamless connectivity and roams smoothly between APs without lag or interruption.
Enterprises can use EdimaxCAP300 for improving the performance for video and voice streaming applications with adjustable RF output power and high receiver sensitivity for wide coverage across large spaces.
