Dimension Data has made an offer to acquire the communications division of Jebsen & Jessen Group of companies in South East Asia.
The acquisition includes Jebsen & Jessen Communications operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. Dimension Data did not reveal the financial data.
The Singapore headquartered Jebsen & Jessen Communications is a market leader in converged communications in South East Asia. It has more than 250 employees and over 800 customers. The IT company designs, installs, maintains and supports solutions including unified communications and collaboration, contact centers, and mobility solutions.
The transaction is aimed to augment Dimension Data’s capabilities in the communications space — particularly in the areas of contact center, collaboration and mobility solutions, said the $8 billion global ICT solutions and services provider.
