Dimension Data and NTT Data deliver cloud solutions to SAP clients

Dimension Data and NTT DATA have joined hands to deliver a new set of end-to-end services that help clients leverage the agility and costs advantages of moving their SAP applications to the cloud.

The joint offering by Dimension Data and NTT Data provides clients with end to end services for building, migration, managing and hosting SAP in the cloud.

Certified with SAP for cloud, hosting and SAP HANA, Dimension Data’s Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) provides a set of services to support SAP applications.

Clients will gain expertise and a variety of options as they consider a cloud based solution for their enterprise solution.

Company officials said the new services provides hybrid model to the clients that allows SAP to run on Dimension Data’s private MCP within the client’s data center as well as take advantage of its off-premise, shared public MCP for pre-production tasks, resulting in greater efficiency and cost management.

NTT DATA offers a complete lifecycle of SAP related services that span consulting, implementations, upgrades, integration, applications management and best-in-class, automated cloud migration services.

Additionally, Dimension Data’s MCP provides production quality, high availability and disaster recovery which is essential for multinational, global implementations.

Last month, Dimension Data launched a new assessment to help organizations assess the maturity of their security architecture.

Also, Dimension Data launched a maturity tool to help organizations assess their capabilities and prioritize initiatives for building next generation data centers.

In March, Dimension Data announced its five-year IT deals with Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.), promoters of the Tour de France, to improve the viewing experience of cycling fans.

In a significant development recently Dimension Data launched maturity tool for data centers . The new solution helps organizations assess their capabilities and prioritize initiatives for building next generation data centers.
