A global ICT solutions and services provider, Dimension Data, announced an agreement with SAP to offer partner managed cloud for the SAP Hybris Commerce solution in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
According to a press statement, Dimension Data will offer an affordable, ready-to-use, subscription-based offering, the Dimension Data Cloud Services for SAP Hybris Commerce.
With the new move, SAP Hybris Commerce will be available on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model in APAC for the first time. In addition, organisations in the region will get the ability to invest in line with expected revenues, with minimal capital expenditure investment.
“With Dimension Data Cloud Services for SAP Hybris Commerce, we are helping enterprises to scale fast in digital commerce, while we deliver this as an end-to-end service,” said Manish Pratap, general manager, ITaaS, Dimension Data Asia Pacific.
Dimension Data said the service will be delivered as a scalable rapid-deployment solution that is managed end-to-end from an enterprise-class provider. Dimension Data Cloud Services for SAP Hybris Commerce can go live in as few as 100 days.
The company said Dimension Data Cloud Services for SAP Hybris Commerce is well suited for both B2B and B2C markets. Initially, it will be available in Singapore and India, with other Asia Pacific countries to follow.
According to Gartner’s Critical Capabilities for Digital Commerce, published in April 2015, SAP Hybris Commerce is the world’s leading digital commerce solution.
