Diana McKenzie is the new CIO of Workday

Finance and HR major Workday today announced the appointment of Amgen executive Diana McKenzie as the company’s chief information officer (CIO).

As the CIO of Workday, Diana McKenzie will be reporting to co-president Mark Peek. Diana McKenzie will have global responsibility for Workday’s information services organization.

Prior to joining Workday, Diana McKenzie was senior vice president and CIO at Amgen, where she spent 12 years applying analytics and information technology (IT) to drive competitive advantage for the company.

Before Amgen, Diana McKenzie served in a variety of IT leadership roles at Eli Lilly and Company.

“In my experience, nothing is more rewarding than accelerating business growth by evolving the ways an organization can take advantage of new technologies to unlock the potential in people and data,” said Diana McKenzie, chief information officer, Workday.
