Dell executive Geeta Sachdev joins VMTurbo as CMO

Geeta Sachdev, who has earlier worked with Dell, SolarWinds and Booz, Allen & Hamilton’s Financial Services Group, has joined VMTurbo as CMO.

VMTurbo, a provider of software-defined control system for businesses, said Sachdev will lead VMTurbo’s marketing to accelerate its mission to provide software-defined control for application workloads in virtualized data center and cloud environments.

Deploying VMTurbo contributes to IT staff productivity savings of up to 20 percent and improvements in resource utilization of 20 to 40 percent – resulting in significant operational and capital expenditure benefits.

Before joining VMTurbo, Sachdev was CMO of SolarWinds, a provider of IT management software.

At Dell, she served as executive director of Consumer Marketing and was responsible for merchandising, online demand generation, and marketing communications.

Sachdev also served as executive director of Online Operations for Dell.com, where she led content operations and online analytics for Dell.com segments. E

Earlier, Sachdev held a variety of senior roles at Dell across marketing, e-commerce, and call center operations.
