Dell Chromebox for meetings to come soon

Enterprise IT vendor Dell on Thursday said it is developing Dell Chromebox for meetings, a solution designed to help geographically dispersed teams conduct meetings from devices.

Dell Chromebox for meetings will include a high-definition camera, a combined microphone and speaker unit and a remote control to enable users to connect to a display in a conference room, and recreate the in room meeting experience.

The company says Dell Chromebox for meetings will be available in the coming months.

The association between Dell and Google has already resulted into several product offerings in the recent past.

Recently, Dell released its Dell Chromebook 11 for Education to provide a cost-effective solution for the classroom, as well as its range of Dell Venue Android tablets.

In addition, last week Dell premiered its Android-based Dell Wyse Cloud Connect controlled and fully managed cloud access device for Enterprises.

Dell and Google are working together to develop additional innovative solutions that will further enhance people’s interaction with personal and professional content to help them make the best decisions possible in the office, in school or on the road.
