D-Link posts 59% increase in revenue for FY 2013

Infotech Lead India: D-Link India has posted 58.56 percent increase in FY 2013 revenue to Rs 353.7 crore from Rs 223.07 crore in the previous fiscal.

D-Link’s revenue for Q4, 2012-13 was Rs 99.17 crore, up 38.4 percent as compared to Rs 71.65 crore.

Tushar Sighat, CEO, D-Link (India), said that the strong financial results of the company in the last 8 quarters can be attributed to consistent growth in the consumer, SMB/SME and enterprise business.

Factors such as association with channel and D–Link’s renewed business approach along with its recent foray into the consumer lifestyle space have contributed to the company’s increased revenue.

D-Link India is looking at increasing its product portfolio in both consumer & enterprise segment. The networking company will also widen its re-seller base through new business model.

D-Link’s emerging markets and APAC markets constitute 48 percent of the company’s total revenue.

D-Link India recently inaugurated its new service initiative DDS Center in Goa to provide better customer service by collecting a faulty product unit from a customer’s doorstep and immediately replace it with a working model.
