D-Link said it will offer a free dual-port 10GBASE-T network adapter card (DXE-820T) to purchasers of the new 10-Gigabit Web Smart Switch (DXS-1210-12TC).
The company said under this promotion customer in US can purchase a new DXS-1210-12TC switch from a D-Link value added reseller, CDW, Insight, PC Connection, PC Mall Provantage, or Zones and claim 10G NIC by filling an online claim form.
D-Link will ship the DXE-820T product at no charge and the new promotional offer starts from 30 September.
In addition, 10GBASE-T technology supports full 10Gbps speeds up to 100 meters on CAT-6A or better LAN cabling.
10-Gigabit Web Smart switches can be used throughout a typical corporate network including the edge, aggregation layer or top of rack switching, in server/storage closets.
The DXS-1210-12TC Web Smart 10-Gigabit Ethernet Switch and DXE-820T Dual-port 10GBASE-T Network Adapter are available for $2,299.99 and $529.99 respectively.
Last month, D-Link launched ShareCenter 4-Bay Cloud Network Storage Enclosure (DNS-340L) to provide features offered in both business and consumer storage arrays.
