IT services vendor CSC has hired Cognizant Technology veteran Sanjiv Gossain as vice president and managing director for its UK, Ireland and Netherlands region.
He will be responsible for the UK, Ireland and Netherlands region.
Sanjiv, who will report to John Maguire, executive vice president and general manager for CSC global sales and marketing and regional operations, will be instrumental in establishing CSC’s new regional hub at King’s Cross, London, which will open in May.
At Cognizant Technology Solutions, Gossain most recently served as senior vice president. During his ten years at Cognizant, he held a number of positions including global markets lead for telecom and media industry, European head of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Engagements, head of Nordics, and managing director of Cognizant UK and Ireland.
Gossain was a co-founder of NerveWire, a Boston, Mass. based management consulting and systems integration firm, and held senior management roles at Cambridge Technology Partners (now Novell), Nokia Telecommunications, and IMLogic (now Symantec).
