Cosmos Co-operative Bank has deployed a customized IT WAN solution from Array Networks to enhance its data replication process and protect customer data.
The bank has deployed Array Networks’ WAN Optimization, which ensured zero data loss during data replication to the disaster site and helped the bank in recovering their customers’ data during database breakdown.
Array Network’s aCelera optimized storage data replication by 70 percent and crunched the data loss up to 65 percent.
Shibu Paul, regional sales director – India, ME and SEA at Array Networks said the WAN solutions can speed up the replication process of applications along with reducing bandwidth cost. The aCelera WAN 2300 also reduced the bandwidth cost of Cosmos bank ensuring faster response time.
Array Networks said that the bank faced many problems in sharing customers’ information with consistency. It suffered from limited bandwidth capacity, traffic congestion and latency issues which resulted in slow data replication process and bank was unable to replicate the data after a disaster.
Vikrant Ponkshe, managing director and CEO at Cosmos Bank said the aCelera product helped the bank to reduce the utilization of the link from 40 Mbps to 15 Mbps and ensured faster replication.
