Catastrophe risk management firm RMS has named Cory Isaacson its chief technology officer (CTO). Isaacson joins RMS from CodeFutures Corporation, a big data analytics software development firm that has worked on the new design for the RMS (one) platform.
As founder and CEO of CodeFutures, Isaacson created a big data platform designed to remove the complexity and limitations of current data management approaches.
“Isaacson has more than 20 years’ experience with advanced software architectures, is recognized as a bright innovator in big data and analytic computing, and has a track record of building successful systems,” Hemant Shah, the co-founder and CEO of RMS, said.
In addition to Isaacson, Chandler Hoisington has joined RMS as vice president of engineering and will report to Isaacson, as will Paul Winsberg, senior vice president of software development. Isaacson will remain a director and advisor to CodeFutures.
