Citrix hires Symantec veteran Brian Dye as VP of mobile platforms group

Citrix has hired Symantec veteran Brian Dye as group vice president and general manager of its Mobile Platforms group.

Dye will be responsible for driving Citrix mobility business including enterprise mobility management (EMM) and mobile device management (MDM) solutions, comprising device, application, content, and data security and management, said Citrix in a statement.

At Symantec, Dye worked for more than 10 years. At the IT security vendor, he held leadership roles in product management, engineering, support and operations – most recently serving as senior vice president for the Information Security Group.

Before joining Symantec, he held roles in engineering, program management, and business development at Procter and Gamble, E Ink, and Xerox PARC.
