Networking major Cisco will perform live demos of collaboration technologies, including Cisco Quad, Cisco Quad with Jabber, Cisco WebEx, Cisco SocialMiner and Cisco TelePresense at theEnterprise2.0 conference inBostonon June 18-21.
At the event, the network specialist and its customers will be exploring technologies that are shaping the new collaborative workspace.
Cisco has also announced that it will hold daily prize drawings for those who visit the booth, watch a demo or attend a speaking session.
Nike’s Richard Foo, director of Collaboration, will deliver a keynote address atEnterprise2.0 2012, “Staying Connected: Driving Innovation.
Additionally, representatives from Cisco customers Virgin Media and GE will take part in a panel moderated by Aragon Research’s Jim Lundy, “A Customer’s Journey: Putting Social To Work.”
They will share their experiences regarding how they leverage social collaboration tools to foster greater employee participation, enable new ways of working, and ultimately, transform their business.
Cisco announces new collaborations solutions involving Jabber and TelePresence
Recently, Cisco announced new collaborations solutions at the annual Cisco Collaboration Summit 2012.
The main innovations include additions to Cisco Jabber and Cisco TelePresence systems. The new Jabber and TelePresence offerings include a new immersive TelePresence system with optimized collaboration capabilities.
Cisco said it is extending Cisco Jabber to iPad and Windows, building on its Jabber portfolio for Android, iOS, Mac, BlackBerry and Cisco Cius tablets.
