Check Point Software Technologies has appointed Steve McWhirter as vice president of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa sales.
McWhirter will be responsible for Check Point’s market and business growth in the regions and will focus on strategy, structure and operational plans in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
Prior to joining Check Point, he worked at Salesforce, Hewlett-Packard and IBM where he held various senior sales management roles. McWhirter is based in Singapore and will report to Amnon Bar-Lev, president of Check Point Software Technologies.
