At the CES 2014, Samsung Enterprise Services announced the launch of mobile device support

Samsung Enterprise Services is a portfolio of services which supports customers through the entire lifecycle of a mobile device deployment and integrates with existing Samsung Mobile enterprise offerings.

Samsung Enterprise Services provides support options in two essential areas – deployment services and ongoing management.

Together with Digital Management (DMI), Samsung Mobile offers a range of mobile enterprise services including initial needs assessment, device configuration and migration, deployment and development of customized services.

The second component of Samsung Enterprise Services is Samsung MobileCare for Enterprise which offers ongoing management support and dedicated service for business customers. Samsung MobileCare simplifies the maintenance, support and management of Samsung Mobile devices – both corporate-issued and employee-owned – through training, technical support, certified repair and extended warranty care.

Samsung Mobile will also be the first mobile device manufacturer to establish a strategic relationship with OtterBox to supply a complete and complementary portfolio of accessory solutions for enterprise customers.

Tim Wagner, vice president and general manager of Samsung Mobile’s Enterprise Business Unit, said: “For these customers, an investment in a mobile initiative is much greater than just the cost of purchasing the devices. They require the best in security, solutions and services which we can  deliver via Samsung Knox, the Samsung Solutions Exchange and Samsung Enterprise Services.”

In 2013, Samsung Mobile introduced the Knox security platform and also launched the Samsung Solutions Exchange to help businesses embrace a mobile-first philosophy.
