CeBIT India 2014: Intel showcases mobility, data center, IoT solutions

At the CeBIT India 2014 show in Bengaluru, Intel has showcased solutions for mobility, data center and Internet of Things (IoT).

This apart, the company has unveiled the Intel Sensing Platform, a solution combining hardware, mobile applications, analytics and cloud-based technology that enables mobile-based personal healthcare management application.

The technology eco-system can use the Intel Sensing Platform to create applications for different consumer segments in India and other emerging markets.

Kumud Srinivasan, president Intel India, said: “Intel Sensing Platform is a key innovation for bringing about critical change through enabling an affordable technology solution that can impact masses positively.”

Intel also discussed the growth of the IT and technology landscape in India, focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. The discussion highlighted how technology usage in India is fast catching up and accelerating in emerging areas, marked by acceleration in IP creation, digital literacy, emphasis on serving local needs, rising  mobile penetration and social entrepreneurship.
