Some of the global enterprise IT vendors have announced what they have in store for the crowd at the CeBIT2017 event taking place in Hannover, Germany from March 20 – 24, 2017.
Ciena
Ciena is extending the market reach of its WaveLogic coherent modem technology. The company said optical component companies Lumentum, NeoPhotonics and Oclaro will each leverage Ciena’s WaveLogic technology to build coherent optical modules that optimize networks across a range of applications.
In addition, each of the companies will form part of an ecosystem that will focus on standards-based innovation to enable customer choice in the emerging 400G pluggable market, which is being driven by data center interconnect (DCI) requirements for greater scale, improved power efficiency and lower costs.
ZTE
ZTE announced the overseas debut of a shared and co-built IoT solution in association with the China LoRa Application Alliance (CLAA) at CeBIT.
ZTE and IoT enterprises from the CLAA showcased an IoT gateway and cloud-based core network, long range/low power (LoRa) chips/modules, intelligent IoT terminals and mature solutions together with 3D dynamic joint service demonstrations.
ZTE also announced its “Smart Street 2.0 – Highlights Your City” solution at CeBIT in Germany. Smart Street 2.0 is the second generation of ZTE’s low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) based solution which helps city administrators transform public services on the city’s streets and road, thus creating a solid foundation for a practical smart city.
NEC
NEC will be displaying advances in public safety and smart city solutions by integrating AI, IoT and cloud in the Japan Pavilion Hall 4.
NTT Group
NTT Group will showcase B2B2X business model cases at the event.
AudioCodes
AudioCodes is set to exhibit Universal Communications Architecture (UCA), designed to help large enterprises to modernize their voice networks in a simple, cost-effective manner for on-premises, private cloud, or public cloud deployments.
Toshiba
Toshiba will exhibit its IoT architecture Spinex, IoT solutions for energy, industrial applications of IoT and AI, and AI application in the field.
Hexagon Geospatial
Hexagon Geospatial said will showcase solutions to support the development of Smart Cities in connection with Huawei.
GTX Corp
GTX Corp, an IoT platform in the personal location wearable and wandering assistive technology business, will be showcasing its GPS SmartSole at CeBIT on the Telefonica Deutschland stand in Hall 12, Stand D49.
